Here's why it's so cool.

1. You introduce a magic button card. This card when pushed makes the magic happen. The magic button card is placed on the table away from the deck in full view.

2. A card is selected, signed, placed in the middle of the deck and when the magic button is pushed their signed card comes to the top.

3. The magician ends the routine by asking the spectator to push the button but for some reason the card is not coming to the top. Instead the magic button card is turned over by the spectator and they see their signature on the other side of the magic button. Giving them an impossible souvenir.

The Magic Button routine is so strong because the card they signed is clearly in the deck. The routine is structured so that they are convinced that they see the front side that is signed and the back side going into the deck. The magic button card is almost never touched by the magician which makes it so impossible when the magic button card transforms into their signed selection.

This will be a big hit in your arsenal for the following reasons.

1. It's one of the most popular plots in card magic. The magic button just makes it so much better.
2. This routine is easy to perform and only uses beginner card moves.
3. This fools magicians.
4. If the you choose to do the signed version, you will leave the spectator with a memorable souvenir (but you don't have to if you don't want to)!

I love this because it is a complete shocker when the spectator turns over the magic button card to find their signed card. It really is the most satisfying and most impossible way to end this effect.
