An old trick for a new day
Nickels to Dimes is a fundamental trick to so many magicians. I remember putting on a cape from a Batman Halloween costume and performing a magic show in my living room using my newly acquired magic kit. Nickels to Dimes was my favorite effect that came in that set. It might have been the only thing that actually fooled my parents.
Today, it's harder to justify performing this classic effect. Magic has been trending away from props that only exist in the context of magic. Luckily, we teamed up with Lloyd Barnes to make Procaps, a Nickels to Dimes that looks just like a soda cap.

The organic form-factor makes it ideal to perform anywhere. The bang ring is even cleverly disguised as the plastic seal from the bottle.
Performing Procaps is the perfect way to honor magic's history, while pushing for the continued advancement of the art form. I know just seeing it brought me back to my parents' living room. I hope it transports you as well.

Punk's Not Dead. Long Live the Magic.
The most biting insult that any performer can ever hear after a performance is "that was good."
Good? Magic shouldn't just be good. It should be mind-melting, jaw-dropping, eye-popping, and brain-soupifying. Good doesn't cut it.
So how do you upgrade your card magic from good to incredible? You ask Etienne Pradier. Before he was performing for Penn & Teller and the Royal Family, Pradier was a young magician with a punk-rock edge who needed to figure out what makes a performance unforgettable.
He came up with a list of tricks that he knew blew minds ever single time. Then, compiled them into Never Mind the Bollocks Here's Etienne Pradier.
SEE THE VIDEO TALKING ABOUT IT HERE!
Tricks like a CAAN using a borrowed deck, Etienne's personal coin matrix, and his absolute favorite stage rope routine.
You're also gonna find card tricks. A lot of them. You'll get a fully inspectable deck that reveals a chosen card in two different ways. A book test that also finds a card lost in the deck. A mind boggling way to produce the four aces. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
This is put together in a striking book that is as much a love letter to early punk as it is to magic. But that just ties into Etienne's philosophy on performing: keep what works, remove what doesn't, and perform with personality.

JUST FOR LAUGHS:
On the first day of college the dean is making his initial address to the incoming student body, and is going over some of the rules.
"The female dormitory will be out-of-bounds for all male students, and the male dormitory is out-of-bounds for all female students. Anybody caught breaking this rule will be fined $20 the first time.
Anybody caught breaking this rule the second time will be fined $60.
Being caught a third time will cost you $180. Are there any questions?"
"Yeah," says a guy in the back. "How much for a season pass?"
