MJM PERSONAL PEAKS:
Did you know that MJM Magic started out of a single dresser drawer in my closet? It's true! Back in 2004, I wanted to use my background in customer service to start a business but didn't know ANYTHING about how to start!So I began bulk purchasing a few tricks (Color Monte was one of our very first) and stored them in a spare dresser drawer I had. I think for the first month of MJM Magic, we only carried six products on our site!
In fact, I just looked up what our website looked like in December of 2004 and this is a screenshot:

Pretty hilarious, right? Completely unrecognizable to the company we are today. It's a totally different color scheme.....different layout.......but it shows you how far we have come (and how much the website and the business model has changed).
Back then, we had higher listing prices but a "lifetime" discount coupon code. We've since gotten rid of that cumbersome code and built the savings into the everyday pricing. Plus we added other incentives like Reward Points and Monthly $30.00 paybacks for all qualifying customers.
Also back then, in 2004, we might have gotten ONE ORDER every week or so, which was fine (because I still was working a full time job in the Silicon Valley doing tech support for a medical imaging company). So if we had an order come through the MJM Magic website, I would excitedly package it up that evening when I got home from work and ship it out the same day!
My how far we have come in the last 15 years! Thank you to all old and new customers who continue to be part of the MJM Magic family! I wonder where we will be in another 15 years? Stick around with us to find out!
